HD-SDI Interfacing
  • Based on SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) serial link standard, transmitting uncompressed real-time HD digital images via 75Ω coaxial cable.
  • SDI interfaces includes SD-SDI(270Mbps,SMPTE259M),HD-SDI(1.485Gbps,SMPTE292M),3G-SDI(2.97Gbps,SMPTE424M).

Optical fiber communication technology

Application Example

In the far end, HD-SDI camera output standard HD-SDI video signal. Via the HDFDI transmitter, the signal is converted to HDFDI protocol signals which is researched&developed all by Qihan and sent through fiber. HDFDI receiver receives this signal and convert it to standard HD-SDI video signal,and then use the standard coaxial cable BNC interface to transfer it out.

Users can use the SDI-HDMI converter or other conversion equipment to access HD monitor and monitor front-end real-time images, The transmission distance is up to 20 km (without relay).
